Figures and shield are real... the shirt is just photoshop.



I'm thinking of sculpting the uniform lines and making him into Captain America from the Ultimates. Probably with the entire uniform shirt but keep the camo pants (there are several instances where Steve Rogers doesn't wear his mask/helmet and has army fatigues on over his uniform.)

I'd add the textures, seams on the sleeves, and all the red and white areas also.

I have the Spawn fig. my buddy ragingdemon only wanted AL, so he gave me the Spawn fig. and the fig still smells [img]confused.gif[/img] he's friggin' huge too [img]eek.gif[/img]

I had planned on sculpting the whole cap mask, but the more I see this pic with the rag-head, I'm getting more convinced I should just repaint the skin, sculpt the details of the uniform on the torso and arms, and paint the red-white-blue.

I like the idea that he's got the fatigues on over his costume and is fighting unmasked.

What kind of wire did you use for the chains? Been wanting to do the same thing with my Spawn V.

How does it comes in the package ?

Straight out of the package it looks just like the bottom pic, but with only the two chains coming from the tummy skull. Those chains are about 5-6" long in each direction.

As for the wire, I use thin flexible picture hanging wire. I thread it through every 3rd or 4th link and then it's VERY important to wrap the wire around the first link, stretch the chain very well along it's entire lenght (to avoid sags or wrinkles in the chain) and then wrap the wire around the last link.

This keeps the chain stretched to it's full length, and then you can pose it however you want. Large spirals work the best because then the 'S' curves look good from any angle. (standard 's' curves will look flat from certain angles)
